Nan O'Brien has an eclectic professional background spanning four decades. She has enjoyed time in television and film, as both talent and in talent management; screenwriting; and production, in addition to literary accomplishments. She spent many years in radio as on-air talent, hosting her own nationally-syndicated radio show, as well as performing live to sold-out audiences nationwide. Nan also spent fifteen years in law, working with law firms throughout the US on complex litigation cases.
An entrepreneur, Nan formed a boutique entertainment company, FAN Entertainment & Media, with esteemed Los Angeles sports and entertainment attorney, Frank K. Wheaton. FAN has a publishing company and a production company which focuses on presenting high profile stories in words and film to the public. Additionally, she is a published author under various pseudonyms on subjects ranging from self-help and university textbooks to high profile biographies.
Importantly, Nan feels strongly about contributing to society and using her creative talents to support social justice issues, considering herself overall as a "creative activist." She has served on numerous non-profit boards and is currently the Treasurer of the non-profit, A Soulful Heart Memorializing George Floyd, Jr., whose mission is to strengthen relationships between people from all racial communities.
